Qualifications – Chartered Accountant since 1992, Chartered Tax Adviser since 1995.

Experience – Angela has been in practice for over 25 years and advises individuals and businesses in many sectors but mainly professional practices and agriculture.

Areas of taxpertise – Angela specialises in personal and business taxation and, in particular, inheritance tax, capital gains tax and trust taxation. She can also advise on business restructuring, capital allowances, property taxation and general tax advisory.

Other skills – Angela likes to get to know her clients and their families and is a trusted adviser to them. She enjoys the challenge of complex tax issues and finding a solution to meet clients needs in a tax efficient manner.

Angela is also a regular contributor to ICAS on a wide range of taxation matters and enjoys writing tax articles for press.

Favourite piece of tax planning advice – Don’t leave succession planning until it is too late and always communicate your intentions to your family.

Outside of Work – Angela spends time with her family and her horse which doesn’t leave much time for anything else apart from the odd trip to the cinema.
