Qualifications – Taxation Technician since 2007.

Experience – Gavin started his tax career with HM Revenue & Customs in 2001 before joining EQ in 2005.  He is Tax Manager in our Glenrothes office.

Areas of taxpertise – Gavin heads up our Tax Enquiries & Investigations team and has extensive experience of Private Client tax.  He is also a member of our International Tax for Individuals team.

Other skills – Gavin has a portfolio encompassing a wide range of clients involved in many business areas and has a particular interest in the Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Favourite piece of tax planning advice – Always get advice before entering into a transaction as without doing so you may end up paying significantly more tax than you could have.

Outside of work – Gavin’s hobbies include photography, DIY and cars.
