Qualifications – BAcc (Hons), Chartered Accountant since 2022 and is currently studying to become a Chartered Tax Advisor.

Experience – Lia has been with EQ for over 4 years starting with the firm as a CA trainee. Lia supports the tax team with compliance and planning work, as well preparing personal tax returns for our clients.

Areas of taxpertise – Lia’s area of focus involves a varied portfolio of private and corporate tax clients supporting in both a compliance and advisory capacity, residential property, and VAT, especially relating to the hospitality sector.

Other skills – Lia is a member of the EQ Leisure team and has expertise knowledge of the issues relating to holiday park owners. She is also heavily involved with P11D reporting for clients.

Favourite piece of tax planning advice – It is important to consider an individual/businesses needs in full when providing tax advice. Tax solutions are never a one size fits all solution.

Outside of work – Lia enjoys travelling and spending time with family, friends, and her sausage dog Colin.
