Qualifications – Chartered Certified Accountant since 2013.

Experience – Robert joined EQ as a school leaver and completed his professional training with the firm, developing significant tax and accounting knowledge over this period.

Areas of taxpertise – Robert specialises in succession planning, inheritance tax and executory taxation. He has extensive agricultural knowledge and advises clients on corporate finance, business reconstruction and acquisitions.

Other skills – Robert looks to build strong relationships with his clients, with a real focus on becoming their main trusted advisor.  This allows him to help them achieve their taxation and accounting goals.

Favourite piece of tax planning advice – Succession planning, helping a family business to achieve their desired plan for succession in a tax efficient manner.

Outside of Work – Robert runs a herd of pedigree Charolais cattle and spends most of his spare time working on the farm.  He tries to do some shooting in the winter months and enjoys socialising with friends.
