Xero Package Price Freeze for our Clients

Xero have recently announced a planned increase to two of their monthly subscription plans. From 1 August 2019, the standard plan is increasing by £2.00 to £24 + VAT, and the premium plan by £2.50 to £30 + VAT – for new and existing UK customers.

As Xero Platinum Partners,  we have historically chosen to recharge the cost for these packages to our clients at £20 + VAT and £25 + VAT respectively, and have decided to continue with our pricing policy for the next 12 months, guaranteeing our subscription charges until 1 August 2020.

Amber Accounting Manager and Making Tax Digital Taxpert, Scott Kennedy, commented;

“Following HMRC’s introduction of Making Tax Digital, we have had a large number of clients migrate their accounting systems to Xero. To this end, we felt that it was unfair to pass on this increase in subscription charges to our clients, and will guarantee their costs for the next 12 months.

“We continue to see product innovation from the Xero packages, and over time we expect to see more engagement from our clients with Xero. We have decided to keep the package price for our clients at the same level as they have been for the last 3 years, almost doubling the discount our clients will benefit from over the next 12 months.”
